Yesterday, Can You Hula Like Hilo Hattie? (the second Triple Threat Investigation Agency series featuring private eyes JJ, Rey and Linda) was highlighted on Kristina’s lovely blog, www.booksanddachshunds.wordpress.com.
Kristina, who [also] hails from Canada, used to blog solely about “bookish stuff”, but has expanded now that she has beau Alex in her life. She’s expanded to include blogging and video games, and whatever else tickles her fancy. Alex, as an FYI, has joined in the fun and posts twice a week.
Our blogger is “owned” by two dachshunds—smooth dapples—Kafei and Sheik. As an FYI, these cute little poochies are my favorite breed! (God willing, one day I’ll be able to cease drooling and fawning over those I meet on the street because I’ll have a dachshund of my own.)
I love that she’s so dedicated that she provides days and time for postings. <LOL> Please check out her winning blog featuring books, blogging and more!

I'm primarily a writer of fiction and blog posts, and a sometimes editor and proofreader of books, manuals, and film/television scripts. Fact-checking and researching, organizing and coordinating are skills and joys (I enjoy playing detective and developing structure). My fiction audience: lovers of female-sleuth mysteries. My genres of preference: mysteries (needless to say), women’s fiction, informative and helpful “affirmative” non-fiction.
So-o, here I am, staring up a new blog for aspiring and established e-Book writers. The plan: to share the (long) journey of getting to this stage, and share "learnings" and "teachings". There's a lot I hope to accomplish with this blog, but it may be a while before that happens as there's a lot on the ol' plate - taking care of Mom, working full-time, and attempting to get another book in the Triple Threat Investigation Agency series written (never mind blog postings and other writing projects).
It's very challenging and it's all good. As I like to say: teeny focused baby steps are just as effective as long forceful strides. It may take a little longer, but we will get there.

Aww, thank you so much for the shoutout !
YES, dachshunds are also my favorite breed; so loyal, yet also a bit of a pain and stubborn ahah but nonetheless the best breed i’ve ever had. Once you get a weenie, you just gotta keep having them and add more ! 😅
Note; … even if you own 20 of them, you never stop drooling and being excited of seeing them on the street.. *aherm* on in stores for that matter ahah

They are stubborn indeed – I used to dog-sit one named “Charley”. He was a sweetie. OMG. Yup, one day . . . I’ll have [at least] one! Can’t wait. 🙂
